Our Cause
Embark in Change, a United States-based animal welfare organization, is dedicated to improving the lives of dogs in Belize through spay/neuter clinics, medical care, and finding them loving homes. Our main goal is to raise awareness about animal abuse and advocate for government actions against dog mistreatment in Belize. Through our donation support and rescue stories blog, we aim to raise funds to ensure the protection and well-being of these animals.

Spay/Neuter Clinics
Our spay/neuter clinics aim to control the dog population in Belize and prevent overbreeding, reducing the number of stray dogs on the streets.
Medical Care
We provide essential medical care like vaccinations, treatments, and surgeries to ensure the health and well-being of rescued dogs.
Finding Loving Homes
We work tirelessly to find permanent and caring homes for rescued dogs, giving them a second chance at a happy life.

Our Story
Through the years, Louis and I have rescued dogs in Belize, Costa Rica and the United States. We even rescued a miniature donkey that we fondly named, Little Britches. We are so excited about broadening our reach and assisting more animals with this new platform.
Get to Know Us
Welcome to Embark in Change! Our journey began in August 2024, when we traveled to Belize and witnessed the heartbreaking plight of stray dogs. Amidst stunning scenery, we were struck by the number of hungry, homeless dogs desperately seeking care. Inspired by this experience, we committed ourselves to rescue and support these animals, leading to the creation of our organization. Join us as we work to make a difference in the lives of these deserving dogs!
